Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful husband JP and my wonderful Dad Henry are also part of our family. A lot of people follow me on my Instagram platform @annephung where I write about my experiences- both highs and lows as well as everything in between. My parents took me to America in 1990, when I was just one-and-a-half of age. I wouldn't have the opportunity to share my story with you today in the event that my parents did not work to the max and sacrifice. When I realized that I had the potential to enjoy a brighter and more promising future I set out to be successful and do my parents happy. I had a plan in life: go to college graduate land a corporate job, then get married, purchase an apartment and have children. I believed that this was the ultimate definition of success. But life has other plans to show me the meaning of success. In 2013 I found myself looking forward to going back to my work job. The money and the status didn't bring me happinessIt was like I was just wasting my time away for a paycheck when I knew that I was made for more. I was passionate about exercising and enjoyed being social and helping others while I walked the new direction in my life. I discovered my passion for private training. In 2014 I started my own business, and in the next year I'll celebrating my 7th year anniversary. Since I am an Asian woman in the industry, it is rare to find our kind. As a coach, my goal is to encourage others and help them lead a an active and healthy life through sustainable living that cater to each individual's requirements and desires. Also, I want for others to encourage them to chase their ambitions and desires so that they can achieve what they want to achieve. My career began taking off at the time I had the best successful times of my life. But, my mom died just as my career began to take off. After eight years of battle with Scleroderma, she is finally resting at Heaven. I will never forget her, and will always keep her in my thoughts and heart. Life has an ability of giving us everything we want, even when we're unable to grasp the lessons at this moment. In so many ways, my mom's death changed my life. I honestly believe that she gave me another opportunity to be a part of her story after she passed away. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. This was the time for her move to the next chapter in her story and for me to have the chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. Now into my 30's I'm alive and alert. of the fact I live my life now and not just living the way I was in my past. When I share my experience I hope that my personal experiences can resonate with those of you. I would like that my writings can aid people realize that they aren't isolated. I believe that you are blessed with the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. I wish you to live your life to the fullest and end it without regrets, as death is the sole thing that is promised to us in our life.
