Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the fourth season episode. She was in Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone additionally played the role of the ex-wife of Geller's character, Carol Willick, during her first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett was her replacement after Barone left Friends to pursue a role which required additional time. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the beginning of its run (1995-1996) and in The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Barone is also known for her roles on television in Desperate Housewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role as One Last Ride. The following year, three years since The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone started her role as a recurring character on Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of Barone's character.
